From Humble Beginnings to Community Impact
Although Crossroads Care Center (CRC) was officially established in 2024, its mission began in 2019, when a small team started distributing food boxes to a limited number of families in the community. In March 2020, the coronavirus pandemic emerged, severely impacting people's health and well-being. Mandated lockdowns were imposed in cities across the country, leading to widespread business closures and employee layoffs. Schools shut down, forcing families to make significant adjustments that altered the dynamic within the community. In response, CRC intensified its efforts and developed a more robust food distribution schedule to help alleviate some of the pressures families were facing.
Today, Crossroads Care Center continues to respond in every possible way. In addition to food distribution, CRC has expanded its offerings to include clothing assistance, recovery programs, and music lessons. Several businesses have partnered with Crossroads Care Center to lend their support. Since 2023, the number of volunteers has surged by 400 percent, reflecting the growing community commitment to helping those in need.
